Complex aroma with faint fruity esters (pear, lemon skin), smooth malt with notes of bread crust and slight sulfur SO2. Rounded mouth with a white head that may not persist. Dry finish with unique bitterness; unfiltered with a slight haze to maintain the delicate aspen flavor. Bittered with 14 pounds of Rocky Mountain Aspen leaves that were carefully de-stemmed and put into the boil. All CMC San Luis Valley Pilsner/Scarlet Malt with a little CMC Dextrin Malt.
